About Me
Hi, I’m Beck also known as DockYardTalk—a neurodiverse naval history enthusiast with a passion for bringing the Age of Sail back to life. My primary focus is on the Royal Navy during the Georgian era (1780–1815), especially the people, ships, and signals that shaped British naval power.

I’m currently working on a project to recreate and fly the full signal hoist used at the Battle of Trafalgar, using historically accurate flags and rigging methods. It’s more than a tribute—it's a way to reconnect with a moment that defined an age, and to revive the lost art of naval signalling for a new generation.

Through social media, research, and hands-on projects, I aim to make naval history accessible, visual, and engaging, especially for those who think history is all dates and dust.

For me, it’s wind, canvas, colour, and meaning hoisted to the mast.
